About UsOriginally, the processing of Building Permit applications was handled by the SBMA Engineering Department. Aside from the said function, the said department is also in-charge of preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and other technical documents for various infrastructure projects of SBMA and is also mandated to implement such projects. MissionTo ensure that lives, properties, and public welfare are well taken care of, BPSD shall regulate the construction of all buildings and structures in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in terms of its location, site, design, quality of materials, construction, use, occupancy and maintenance in accordance with existing laws and regulations. VisionTo be an epitome of good governance in promoting public awareness and compliance to statutory requirements with the ultimate goal of providing safe and sound environment conducive for human existence.
