About Us

In 2007, the Regulatory Group together with the Building Permit and Safety Department (BPSD) was created by virtue of Office Order No. 07-05-848. This initiative by SBMA Management to consolidate the regulatory, permitting, and licensing functions into a single strategic business unit creating a “one stop shop” was aimed at improving service quality and efficiency for stakeholders.

The BPSD, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, ensures adherence to the National Building Code of the Philippines, its implementing rules, as well as relevant SBMA policies and those of other pertinent regulatory bodies.
