SUBIC BAY FREEPORT - With the temperature ranging from 32 degrees to 36 degrees Celsius, local and foreign tourists who came to this premier Freeport still enjoyed the long vacation last week.
According to a SUbic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) official, tourist arrivals at this premier Freeport has increased by 26 percent since last year, giving other summer destination spots a run for their money. He said that all hotels and housing accommodations here were already fully-booked even before the month of February, adding that aside from the usual toursits, there were also numerous US servicement who opted to spend summer while their ships are docked at the Alava Pier.
