    Suspected Kush/Cannabis Seized Aboard Malaysian-Flagged Yacht

    2026-09-03, Subic Bay Freeport - A joint operation involving multiple Philippine agencies led to the recovery of 89 bags/packages of suspected kush/cannabis, aboard a Malaysian yacht docked at the Subic Bay Yacht Club (SBYC) on 2 September 2026. The contraband weighs approximately 89 kilograms valued at Php106.8million.

    SBMA Port Operations revenue grows 8% in H1 2026 amid global economic headwinds

  • Suspected Kush/Cannabis Seized Aboard Malaysian-Flagged Yacht

    A joint task force comprising personnel from the Bureau of Customs (BOC), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority’s Investigation and Intelligence Department (SBMA-IID), Law Enforcement Division (SBMA-LED), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales, Olongapo City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (OCPDEU), Zambales Provincial Intelligence Team-RIU3, and Regional Intelligence Division-PRO3 conduct a thorough search of the vessel found to be containing 89 bags/packages of suspected kush/cannabis, aboard a Malaysian yacht docked at the Subic Bay Yacht Club (SBYC) on September 2, 2026.

    SBMA Port Operations revenue grows 8% in H1 2026 amid global economic headwinds

    A container vessel is being prepared for loading and unloading of containers at the New Container Terminal in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, indicating a busy Port of Subic Bay. The SBMA reported an increase in consolidated gross revenue by 8% in Port Operations, reaching Php 874 million in the first half of 2026, compared to Php 806 million in the same period last year.

    SBMA achieves ISO 45001 certification from DQS
