Previous experience in a similar role within the leather goods industry or manufacturing environment or equivalent; Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise assembly and finishing work; Ability to carefully inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met; Familiarity with using adhesives, hand tools, and equipment commonly used in leather bag production; Capacity to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals; Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet production deadlines; Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials if required, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably; Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the production process; Knowledge of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for oneself and others; Willingness to adapt to changing production demands and learn new processes or techniques as needed; Effective communication skills to relay information to supervisors, team members, and other departments as necessary; Dedication to producing high-quality leather bags that meet or exceed customer expectations.

* Sewer / High Post Sewer *

1+ years industrial sewing experience is required; Understanding of handbag constructions; Attention to detail, precision, and proficiency in sewing techniques; Knowledgeable of different types of leather, sewing equipment, and pattern-making may be required; Ability to read and interpret design cards and specifications; adjust machines and materials accordingly, including, but not limited to: selecting thread and needles, mounting necessary attachments and double-checking settings before beginning work; Must have high attention to detail, craftsmanship, and consistency; Must be willing to assist with other functions, as needed; Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously; Desire to learn and increase skills and quality of work; Work well under pressure to meet deadlines; Professionalism in attitude, appearance, and approach; Flexibility to work occasional evening/weekend hours, based on needs of the business.

* Sewing Mechanic *

2+ years industrial sewing experience is required; High school diploma or equivalent: Technical Degree or Certification in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred; Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Mechanic or in a similar mechanical maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or textile industry; Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery; Knowledge of sewing machine mechanics, including components such as needles, feed dogs, bobbin systems, and tension assembles; Familiarity with electrical and electronic systems used in sewing machines, including motors, sensors, controllers, and actuators; Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks; Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions to machine operators; Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate production schedules and urgent maintenance requirements.
