• 4 years of relevant experience;
• 24 hours of relevant training; and
• RA 1080
Job Description
1. Responsible for planning and monitoring the daily performance of the Port Operations Division. Reports directly to the Division Chief;
2. Oversees, manages and control the entire port and harbor operations in the Port of Subic Bay;
3. Determines and assigns vessels to safe and suitable berthing space taking into consideration vessel particulars, cargo type, and cargo handling equipment assigns anchorage position for vessels awaiting berth inside the Port;
4. Presides over the Ships Pre-arrival Meetings. Coordinates with ship agents, cargo handlers, consignees to discuss details of ship berthing assignments.
5. Coordinates and assigns harbor pilots in assisting tugboats for vessel movements;
6. Reports and coordinates with proper authorities any marine related incidents in the Port of Subic Bay and recommends the imposition of appropriate sanctions to violators;
7. Reviews all radio communications transcripts, records of VTMS and AIS data;
8. Provides port information to shipping agencies. Collates and provides weather data to vessels in Port;
9. Ensures the precise collection and reporting of vessel data and the timely submission of daily and monthly vessel reports.
