Minimum requirements:
• High School Graduate or Completion of relevant vocational trade course;
• 1 years of relevant work experience;
• 4 hours of relevant training; and
• Automotive Mechanic (Light Duty) MC 11, s.96 – Cat. I

Additional requirements:
1. Must possess proficient diagnostic abilities and mechanical aptitude, technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills;
2. Expertise in electrical system and troubleshooting of vehicles specifically electric bus;
3. Strong adherence to electrical and mechanical safety protocols
4. Must have a valid LTO Driver’s License (Professional); and
5. With at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Job Description
1. Conducts routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of e-buses;
2. Performs repairs on mechanical components, brakes, suspensions, and other vehicle parts;
3. Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime of buses;
4. Maintains maintenance records and reports necessary repairs or replacements;
5. Coordinates with suppliers for spare parts and maintenance equipment;
6. Ensures compliance with vehicle maintenance standards and safety regulations;
7. Responds to service calls and performs trouble shooting, tune-up and minors field repairs; and
8. Performs other duties as maybe assigned.
