Minimum requirements:
• Elementary School Graduate; and
• Valid Driver License (Professional)

Additional requirements:
1. With at least 8 hours of relevant training; and
2. At least 1 year of relevant experience

Job Description
1. Performs duties from the receipts of call, to response, triage, treatment, and transport endorsement of patients;
2. Daily operational inspection of the vehicle to include driver maintenance requirements. Cleans, waxes ambulances at least weekly and more frequently if required. Cleans interior of the vehicle after each run and termination of shift;
3. Accomplishes endorsement logbooks, equipment logbook/checklist, reports and other official forms as necessary complying with quality assurance documentations audit;
4. Maintains trip ticket, maintenance log and report all discrepancies to the supervisor;
5. Inspects/reports to the Transportation Department minor repair and preventive maintenance of the vehicle assigned; and
6. Ensures proper use, maintenance, and inventory of all medical equipment instruments, radio communication tools, and other appliances, including prompt reporting of any discrepancies/mal-functioning/defects identified.
