Daily Rate: PhP 767.14 + 20%

Qualification and Job Requirements:
Minimum requirements:

• Completion of two-year studies in college (at least 72 units obtained); and
• Career Service Subprofessional

Additional requirements:
• Preferably with 1 year experience as Safety Officer or with the local Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM), and/or Fire/Rescue Volunteer; and
• Eight (8) hours relevant trainings

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responds to a variety of emergency calls including fires, vehicular accidents, search and rescue operations, vehicular rescue, hazardous chemicals/waste spill and all-hazards incidents within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone and outside the area of responsibility if needed;
2. Responds and provides non-emergency services including fire truck standby services, manpower assistance, water rationing, decontamination, Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) assistance, flushing operations, clearing operations, fire alarms activation, animal rescue, clean-up drives, fallen tree cutting and trimming, sports and events assistance within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone ans outside the area of responsibility if needed;
3. Performing daily general maintenance on firefighting equipment and fire engines. Ensures safekeeping and proper care of all Fire Department properties and conducts daily inventory of all equipment loaded in assigned fire apparatus, as well as station equipment. Assists in cleaning assigned fire apparatus and/or command vehicles;
4. Operates command vehicles, and other auxiliary equipment; lays and connects fire hoses; maneuvers nozzles and directs fire streams; raises and climbs ladders; and operates search and rescue tools and equipment safely and effectively;
5. Participates, attends in-house trainings, teaching classes and drills. Assists in the conduct of fire safety trainings, educational tour and other specialized trainings;
6. Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the department facilities. Conducts good housekeeping in the fire station improvement, beautification of surrounding areas, and initiate station’s self-help projects;
7. Performs duties of an alarm room operator and desk watchman on rotation basis;
8. Prepares and submits required reports;
9. Provides appropriate emergency medical care within their scope of knowledge in emergency situations;
10. Assists the Technical Working Group in the implementation of sound Environmental Management System/Quality Management System/Seal for Workplace Excellence (SWE) practices and programs; and
11. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

5. Certificate of Employment attesting the relevant experience held from authorized official/s (current, previous employment or jobs including volunteer work on a full time basis)
6. Relevant Training Certificates; and
7. Certificate of Civil Service eligibility and/or valid applicable license, if any.
