Qualification and Job Requirements:
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job; and
• Career Service Professional

Additional requirements:
• Preferably major in Economics, Marketing, Finance, Business or Accountancy or other related courses;
• Preferably with 2 years work experience in taxation, economics, finance, accountancy, sales or public speaking;
• Practical work knowledge on office productivity, software especially adept with spreadsheets;
• Good interpersonal, negotiations and business skills;
• Works with minimum supervision; and
• Ability to carry out the following tasks:
1) Performs and evaluates socio-economic cost benefit analysis of project proposals under CREATE;
2) Performs and evaluates the request of incentives from the financial reports of the RBEs relating on the grant of CETI;
3) Submit recommendations in a term sheet prepared for the purpose to be submitted to the SBMA Board for either approval or endorsement to FIRB; Assists the proponents for compliance;
4) Assists the proponents for compliance;
5) Prepares reports to the FIRB as instructed; and
6) All other duties and responsibilities as required by the Department Manager.




Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serves as Frontliner of the Department in providing investment-related assistance;
2. Provide briefing, presentations, correspondence, site selection and negotiations with investors;
3. Evaluates all investment proposals according to the set criteria under CREATE and submit appropriate recommendations to the Department Manager;
4. Facilitates and coordinates all subject matter between investors and SBMA;
5. Prepares necessary documentations such as term sheets, cost-benefit analysis, profitability analysis, evaluation reports and recommendations for SBMA Board approval or endorsement to the FIRB;
6. Assists the investors on the issuance of the Registration Certificate, the Certificate of Registration (CR) and the Certificate of Entitlement of Tax Incentives (CETI) of the CREATE;
7. Evaluate and validate the issuance of Certificate of Authority to Import (CAI) for RBEs basing on their representations upon application for incentives, i.e. the schedule of importations of capital equipment and raw materials or its local purchase which must be directly and exclusively used in the approved project/activity;
8. Represents the BIG and SBMA in general in seminar, trainings, trade shows, expositions, meetings and other related activities; and
9. Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time

5. Certificate of Employment attesting the relevant experience held from authorized official/s (current, previous employment or jobs including volunteer work on a full time basis)
6. Relevant Training Certificates; and
7. Certificate of Civil Service eligibility and/or valid applicable license, if any.
