Duties and Responsibilities:

Being part of the Risk Team under the CS Department, the Fraud specialist will have the following primary functions:



1. Fraud Screening

- Monitor identified and recurring live fraud patterns in the fraud screening order queue; Identify new/changing live fraud patterns in the fraud screening order queue; Investigate these patterns and make the decision to accept or refuse orders as orders come through; Identify and track bugs or system related issues that may affect order processing; Recommend improvements on processes to increase safety or reduce risks; Recommend methods to reduce potential financial fraud losses.

2. Dispute Handling

- Check incoming dispute and dispute updates; Supply requested information on new disputes; Analyze and submit complex cases to payment providers.

Other Tasks

Risk Team being part of the Customer Service Department, the Fraud Specialist may also attend to customer service-related inquiries; Depending on business need and under the CS Managers discretion, the Fraud Specialist may also handle customer service-related tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree on any field; 6 months of experience in High Risk Fraud; Ability to investigate a problem and find the ideal solution in a timely, effective Manner; Logical Thinker – observant and can draw conclusions based on input received; Goal-oriented – focused on reaching a specific objective or accomplishing a given task.
