About Us

The PWTSG is the over-all in-charge of overseeing the planning, construction and maintenance of SBMA infrastructure projects and ensuring the smooth operations of key support facilities, utility services, telecommunications services, garbage collection and disposal within the Freeport Zone. These responsibilities are being carried by the Engineering Department, the Maintenance and Transportation Department, and the Telecommunications Department in line with the key imperatives of SBMA to invest in physical infrastructure.

The ODA for PWTSG is committed to provide quality service to SBFZ investors, locators, residents and tourists and customers in the implementation of infrastructure projects and the operation of key support facilities.

MISSION

Lead the way in creating sustainable and globally competitive Freeport zone to contribute in nation building through formulation of sound investment-related policies and effective marketing initiatives in the fields of industrial, manufacturing, maritime, high-technology, ICT, education, creative industries, commercial development, and related industries in order to attract local and foreign direct investments to generate job opportunities, in and around the Freeport community.

OUR FUNCTIONS

• To lead and manage the Business and Investment Group in achieving the Agency’s key objectives and strategic targets;
• To promote and showcase the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in trade and investment missions locally and abroad to attract local and foreign direct investments in order to create job opportunities;
• To formulate investment-related policies that will promote the growth of various industries in the Freeport;
• To represent the SBMA in various functions and meetings locally and abroad that affect the Agency’s authority and function in developing the Freeport as a premier investment destination
• To evaluate project proposals under the Business and Investment Group to be endorsed to the Senior Deputy Administrator for Business and Investment and the Chairman for approval
