Vision

To be the Agency's pro-active and dynamic marketing and business development arm in the Freeport's logistics industry.

Mission

To contribute to the investment, revenue, tax, employment, economic and social growth of the Freeport, and its neighboring communities, via the logistics industry.

Our Functions

To process investment proposals in the Freeport related to logistics projects and services in the seaport, airport and supply chain activities, warehousing and commodity depots
To act as the SBMA's marketing arm in the promotion of the Freeport as logistics hub
To attract foreign direct and local investments in logistics sector
To handle client relations and accounts management of logistics-related investors in the Freeport
To contribute to the investment, revenue, tax and employment growth in the Freeport
To handle the locator management of all existing logistics investments in the Freeport and facilitate the provision of the following services:
Project proposals concerning any of the following business activities shall be handled by the department:
- Renewal of SBF Registration
- Amendment of SBF Registration
- Renewal of Lease/Sublease Agreement
- Amendment of Lease Agreement/Sublease Agreement
- Lease of additional facility (expansion of facility)
- Transfer of Leasehold Rights (Assignment of Lease)
- Assistance on matters requiring action from various SBMA offices and other government agencies
- Advice on SBMA regulations, policies and procedures
