About Us

The Business and Investment Department (BID) for General Business is one of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA)'s Business Investment Departments, that has been created to meet the needs of its current and prospective investors by providing globally competitive, transparent services. We are always committed to improve our service through our capacity-building efforts for our personnel working in investment, marketing and customer service.

In support for the SBMA's direction to enhance the quality of education provided in the Zone, BID-GB has initiated the formulation of Guidelines on Educational Institutions, aimed at "Producing a More Globally Competitive Workforce in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone." Qualified educational institutions in the Freeport are encouraged to provide a wider scope of course offerings and produce a competent workforce that would support and meet the requirements and demands of SBF locators.

• Marketing, investment promotions and prospecting for general business and services locators.
• Locator relationship management of focus locators engaged in service contracting, commercial, subleasing, warehousing, institutions, construction, wholesale and retail trading, manpower, consultancy, foundations/ institutions, transportation and allied services, banking, and other services.
