SUBIC PAWIKAN RELEASE

The turtle, locally known as pawikan, was found on the beach at the nearby Parola fishing village in Olongapo City and was turned over by residents to the SBMA Ecology Center.
Environment Officers Rick Alcantara and Reyster Calderon of the SBMA Ecology Center, along with resort staff of All Hands Beach Resort in the Subic Bay Freeport, release a Hawksbill sea turtle back into the sea on Friday (November 17).
